Each Salmonella Count Plate is a pre-prepared disposable culture system that contains nutrients, water-soluble gelling agent, and salmonella specific octylesterase as a indicator---all the components needed for microbial growth with, so no agar preparation is required.
Salmonella Count Plate
overview:
Salmonella infection, also known as salmonellosis, usually results in fever, headache, diarrhea, stomach cramps, nausea, and vomiting. This pathogen is frequently found in meat, milk, poultry, and eggs. As reported by USDA, every year Salmonella, E. Coli, and Campylobacter together result in 76 million illnesses in the U.S. The increasing pervasiveness of diseases caused by non-typhoidal salmonella is a major public health concern across all high & low-income countries of the world.
The Salmonella Count Plate makes the total Salmonella counting finished in as soon as 15hrs. Enhanced visualization simplifies the interpretation as the positive colonies colored in violet red on the test plate.
Feature:
1. Time-saving, Coliform and E. coli count can result in as soon as 15hrs.
2. Ready for use, eliminating the cumbersome steps of preparing microbial media.
3. Unique miniature petri dish, scientific design ensures good performance on safety
4. Clearer bacterial spot, easier for observation and color interpreted
5. Decades of R&D experience since 1993, professional brand and reliable quality, good reputation.
Storage and Stability:
1. Store at a temperature between 4 to 10℃ with intact packages.
2. Prior to use, warm up to room temperature before opening.
3. Once opened, fold over the pouch and seal it by adhesive tapes to prevent exposure to ambient moisture. The kit can be store in a cool, dry place for no longer than 4 weeks. Or place the pouch in a sealed container and store in a refrigerator.
4. Under sealed condition at room temperature, transportation period should be less than 15 days to make sure the product performance remains stable.
Inoculate: uncover the top film of the plate, pipette 1ml of sample and drip it onto the center of the plate vertically.
Incubate: put the plates (film upwards, piled less than 12 pieces) into the incubator (36±1℃) and incubate for 15-24hrs.
Interpret: count the red and blue colonies with gas bubbles separately, and the fast, precise, and consistent results can be obtained with the help of a built-in grid. (Note: Coliforms are red colonies, while E. coli are blue colonies).
Application:
Bakery, beverage, bottled water, confectionary, dairy, eggs, fruits, vegetables, meat, nutraceuticals, pet food, animal feed, poultry, prepared & processed food, and seafood, etc.
Food manufacturers and processors, food safety testing, environmental monitoring, centers for disease control and prevention (CDC), market supervision and government inspection labs, etc.
